Este é o terceiro post da expedição de dezembro para o Aconcágua. Aqui é Maximo Kausch escrevendo desde 4300m e hoje é quinta feira 26 de dezembro.
Ontem depositamos nossas cargas aos 5600m de altitude no acampamento 2. Já temos nosso acampamento 1 pré estabelecido com pelo menos 100kg de comida, combustível e equipamento. Nosso equipamento 2 já tem pelo menos 50kg de equipamento e mais 120 estão subindo amanhã. Hoje é o nosso dia de desanso aqui no acampamento base antes de sairmos para o ataque ao cume.
O tempo está supreendentemente bom e não nevou até agora. Pela forma e tamanho das nuvens que vimos ontem esperamos neve hoje à tarde ou amanhã. Quando depositamos as cargas ontem aos 5600m vimos o horizonte para o norte do Aconcágua. Avistamos o Mercedário com 6770m, o Ramada com 6387m, o Mesa com 6220m, o Alma Negra com 6119m e mais uma dúzia de super montanhas da região. Do lado oeste podíamos ver um belo horizonte cheio de nuvens baixas e uma linha bem longe que é o oceano pacífico!
O Diogo está indo muito bem e passando por um grande aprendizado. Metade do nosso time é muito experiente e isso está servindo muito para ele. Ontem chegamos ao primeiro acampamento 1 hora mais rápido que o normal!
Passamos uma ótima noite de natal com a nossa família temporária. O pessoal de terra firme organizou um churrasco com porco e frango feito na churrasqueira com lenha e tudo mais! Imagine a lenha e carne viajaram numa mula por 2 dias por 50km para chegar aqui! Os alemães fizeram um discurso de natal e teve até entrega de presentes!
Amanhã subiremos para o acampamento 1 aos 4950m e depois para o 2 aos 5600 onde passaremos 2 noites. Ao que parece nosso dia de cume será entre o dia 31 de dezembro e 01 de janeiro. Nossa comunicação será limitada nesse tempo portanto não se preocupem!
