Lasuntay is within the following mountain ranges: Peruvian Andes, Cordillera Oriental de Peru, Huaytapallana. It is the highest of Huaytapallana. It is located at the Peruvian province of Huancayo. Its slopes are within 3 cities: Peruvian cities of Huancayo and El Tambo and Pariahuanca.
