| First Ascent Notes | The 1950 expedition led by José Fadel on 16-9-1950, did not find any signs of Carabajal's expedition on the summit. They did find a round cairn with a rock in the middle and this is probably from pre-columbian explorations. This is written in Fadel's book "Mi amiga la Montaña" from 2007, page 37.
