The error would have started from the original name "Jatun Mundo Quri Warani" which is in the Quechua language, also Aymara and Spanish. The words were transcribed as Nuevo Mundo. Courty may have climbed another mountain and Friedrich Ahlfeld's ascent on November 1945 was the first to this mountain|
